Barrier Cities

Notes: Barrier Cities are the last refuge of humanity.  The Barriers are created by large frames of metal with a sprinkler system that spreads bio-etheric energy... over a pane of glass I think.  If not over a medium, I assume it would fall and potentially harm those below.

Apparently, the bio-etheric energy damages the sprinklers over time, and sometimes they need to be repaired.

There are, I think, almost one hundred forty Barrier Cities in the world.  We know of New York, and Houston.  And Chicago is probably one.

San Francisco was a Barrier City, but it was lost to the Phantoms.  Presumably this was in 2063, though we can't be sure.
